Permit lists TBC LLC as the contractor, with Lonny Rossman as the design professional. The building will hold 29,535 square feet of space and cost an estimated $4.2 million to build.

Permits Issued for Four-Unit Building at 1436 Parrish Street in Francisville, North Philadelphia

The construction boom in Francisville continues unabated with the issue of permits for a three-story, four-unit residential building at 1436 Parrish Street in the rapidly growing lower North Philadelphia neighborhood. The site is owned by Rubin Realty LLC, which also owns several nearby properties where similarly-scaled new developments were recently announced at 1424 Parrish Street, 1434 Parrish Street, and 830 Burns Street. As with the above-mentioned projects, the developer has secured Alexander Fiskman as the architect and Modern Solution LLC as the contractor. Construction is expected to cost $180,000.

Construction is progressing at The Birch at 51 Washington Street in Conshohocken. Developed by LCOR, the project will stand five stories tall upon completion. A total of 304 residential units will be situated within the structure. The project will be going through going to a zoning hearing today to seek permission to include the project’s name in the structure, which can be seen on the renderings shown in the article.

Construction Progresses On Matson Mill In Conshohocken

Significant construction progress has been made on Matson Mill, a large multi-family development at 101 Washington Street in Conshohocken. Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, the building rises five stories tall and will include 280 residential units that will be arranged as studio, one-, or two-bedroom apartments. The project is located next to the Schuylkill River Trail and will also include 310 parking spaces to support residents’ transportation needs. IMC Construction is the project contractor.

GIANT Supermarket Opens at Riverwalk North Tower in Center City West

The large GIANT supermarket located on the first two levels of the Riverwalk north tower at 60 North 23rd Street has officially opened, bringing a new shopping hub to Center City West. Designed by Gensler  and developed by PMC Property Group, the tower stands prominent at the Schuylkill River Trail, and the way the façade takes in daylight in a dramatic fashion, with metal cladding manipulating creating different shades. The two-tower project will have 711 units, and the shorter north tower will have 331 units above the podium floors. The tower, which replaces a large parking lot, stands 315 feet tall and 28 stories above ground.
