The former factory is set to receive an extra floor on top of the current four-story structure and to become home to 54 apartments as well as commercial space. Though not mentioned in the latest permit, a similar permit dating to May 2018 also called for artist studios and a roof deck, which would offer sweeping views since the tall-ceiled floors make the structure stand prominently above the low-rise surroundings. The owner is listed as 25th and Oakford LLC, with Reed St builders LLC listed as the contractor.
