The Poplar neighborhood in North Philadelphia is not known for its skyline, yet two buildings proposed at 900 North 8th Street will elevate its profile. The east building will stand 154 feet and 12 stories tall wile the west tower will rise 134 feet and 11 floors. with APOM Holdings as the developer. The complex, developed by APOM Holdings and designed by Coscia Moos Architecture will stand at the corner of North 8th Street and Poplar Street and will house a total of 338 residential units.

Jefferson University Caroline Kimmel Biomedical Research Building to Rise in Washington Square West, Center City

Jefferson Health has long served as a major catalyst for development in the Washington Square West and Washington Square West neighborhood in Center City. The medical services provider is now planning to expand at 1020 Walnut Street with a new 170-foot-tall, 12-story structure designed by Payette. The 220,000-square-foot facility will be called the Jefferson University Caroline Kimmel Biomedical Research Building, named after Sidney and Caroline Kimmel in recognition of their $70 million donation.
