Construction has made significant headway at North Liberty Triangle, a two-building, 84-unit development at 1115-27 North American Street in Northern Liberties, North Philadelphia. Façade work is underway at the four-story south building, while the north building has reached its full height, standing six stories above ground. Developed by Streamline Development, the mixed-use project will contribute significant density to the rapidly growing neighborhood.

A nine-unit townhouse complex is nearing the final stages of construction at 2001-13 Abigail Street in Fishtown. Designed by Gnome Architects and developed by Catalyst City Development, the complex will feature a refined red brick facade that echoes classic Philadelphia rowhouses, combined with large modern windows with industrial-style black trim. Each townhouse will feature a private roof deck, and some will include private parking.

Cladding Underway at 2222 Market Street in Center City West

The structural frame continues to rise and cladding installation has started at 2222 Market Street in Center City West. The building will stand 318 feet and 20 stories high, and provide a significant amount of office space as it will take up nearly the entire block. The structure was designed by Gensler and developed by Parkway Commercial Properties, which previously owned the parking lot that had spanned the tower’s entire future footprint.

Renderings revealed for 1148 Frankford Avenue in Fishtown

Renderings have been revealed for a 60-unit mixed-use development at 1148 Frankford Avenue in Fishtown. The development will entail the renovation of a historic bank building, as well as a new five-story structure on the remainder of the site. A 2,600-square-foot commercial space will be located on the ground floor, while the upper floors will hold 12 studios, 32 one-bedroom apartments, and 16 two-bedrooms. The complex will feature spaces for 20 cars and 20 bicycles. A roof deck and green roof will be located atop the building, with an additional 450-square-foot deck situated on the second floor.
