Demolition permits have been filed at 1408-18 East Oxford Street in the Fishtown neighborhood in Kensington. The building to be dismantled is a single-story warehouse which, despite boasting a somewhat attractive exterior of red brick and large paneled windows, has become an eyesore due to its state of disrepair.

Kohn Pendersen Fox’s 47-story, 542-foot Arthaus condominium at 311 South Broad Street is rapidly rising to join the Center City skyline. The 108-unit tower, developed by by Dranoff Properties and constructed by Hunter Roberts Construction Group, currently stands at 13 stories and is rising at about 2 floors per week, with an address at 311 S Broad Street, a few blocks south of City Hall. The tower was originally projected to top out this fall, though at this time the target looks closer to the end of the year or early 2021.
Permits have been filed for the construction of a building at 1906 Bainbridge Street in South Philadelphia. 1906 Bainbridge LLC is listed as the owner. Located near the corner of Bainbridge and 19th Street, the building will feature a roof deck and two roof deck access structures, looking out onto the Philadelphia skyline. There will also be a rear deck at the second floor. The building will sit on a site of an existing building that is awaiting demolition, and for which permits were also filed in recent days.
