Construction work is progressing at a rapid pace at 629 West a Girard Avenue, a 36-unit residential building situated in Ludlow, North Philadelphia. Developed by R+M Development Partners, the structure has already risen to its full height of six stories, and will feature a commercial space situated at the ground floor. Tester Construction is the contractor.
The tallest structure of the two-tower Riverwalk project in Center City West has topped out its concrete structure recently. Developed by PMC Property Group, the structure features an appealing mixture of metal and glass cladding, and the building makes a notable contribution to the Philadelphia skyline. The 380-unit tower is currently topped out at the 32nd floor, and will soon reach its final height of 362 feet. The complex were designed by , which has also designed local buildings such as 2222 Market Street.
Final construction touches are underway at a multi-family development at 909 Corinthian Avenue in Francisville, North Philadelphia. Developed by MM Partners, the building will hold 14 residential units. Tester Construction is the contractor. The project is the second phase of a larger development, which also includes the renovation of a neighboring prewar structure into a 22-unit residential complex.
Excavation is nearly complete for the first Schuylkill Yards tower at 3025 John F. Kennedy Boulevard in University City, West Philadelphia. The 361-foot tall high-rise is also known as Schuylkill Yards West. Located to the northwest of the Bulletin Building, the 28-story tower will soon join Evo and the FMC Tower on the local skyline. The building is designed by the Practice for Architecture and Urbanism, which had also designed 3001 John F. Kennedy Boulevard (aka Schuylkill Yards East) and the Bulletin Building renovation. Brandywine Realty Trust is the developer behind both the building and the entire 14-acre complex.
