Renderings have been revealed for a massive new multi-family development called The Mark, located at 3615 Chestnut Street in University CityWest Philadelphia. Upon completion, the building will officially stand 34 stories tall, though a mechanical penthouse at the top will stretch the height higher, to just over 400 feet tall, a very sizable addition to this location. Designed by BKV Group and developed by Landmark Properties, the tower will hold 363 residential units, with 236 standard units and 127 group living units. Accessed from Ludlow Street, the development will hold space for 70 cars and 96 bicycles.

A recent site visit by Philly YIMBY has confirmed that a site has been partially cleared for the construction of three mixed-use buildings at 711 North 7th Street (full address 711-19 North 7th Street) in Northern Liberties, Lower North Philadelphia, which will hold a combined total of 21 apartments. Each building will stand four stories tall and feature residential and commercial space and a green roof. Building number one will span a 1,662-square-foot ground footprint, hold 7,220 square feet of interior space, include five residential units, and cost $866,400 to build. Buildings number two and number three will each rise from a 2,407-square-foot ground footprint, hold 10,504 square feet of space, feature eight residential units, and cost $1.26 million to construct. Designed by CANNOdesign, the $69.3 million development will be located at the on the southwest corner of the campus on the Schuylkill River waterfront, between the Schuylkill River Expressway and a railroad track and just beneath the South Street Bridge. The complex will span 72,000 square feet and will feature an indoor track and field facility with a banked track, long and high jump pits, a throwing area, and 990 spectator seats.
