Demolition permits have been filed for a vacant two-story rowhouse at 4012 Aspen Street in the Belmont neighborhood of West Philadelphia. Two uCity Square, a 15-story office building that is part of the greater uCity Square development, is slated to rise at 225 North 38th Street in University City in West Philadelphia. Permits have already been filed for the construction of the foundation, the core, and the tower shell. The 498,023-square-foot high-rise will contain office, research and development, and retail space, as well as three loading bays, 329 parking spaces, and 91 bicycle spaces. Most of these amenities will be located underground. A green roof will be built atop the structure.
