Construction has been progressing rapidly at 3700 Lancaster Avenue, a massive six-story apartment building in the uCity Square megaproject in University City, West Philadelphia. The 304,907-square-foot project will add 463 new residential units and 157 parking spaces units to the neighborhood. YIMBY first shared the project in September, when foundation work had been completed and framing had begun on the first floor.

Designed by Bernardon, the development will consist of a total 108 residential units across a mixture of studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. All units will be rental apartments. Three commercial storefronts will be located in the ground floor facing Hamilton Street. The building will hold 114,000 square feet of floor space.
